My Answer: People who study Kabbalah use only the obvious healing methods. Question: Why are people so afraid of getting old? My Answer: Due to a feeling of helplessness, emptiness, and uncertainty. Question: Why do people worship celebrities? My Answer: A celebrity figure isn’t important in and of itself, but because the society makes it important. Take Caligula’s horse for example (a horse that was worshiped in the Roman Empire): You can make society think that a horse is important, and then society will worship it. And because your values are determined by the society, you will also begin to worship the horse. Question: Why do we feel good when other people suffer more than us? Whether or not the new Adobe Media Player enjoys widespread adoption, the technology solves the critical issue of tracking viewership of downloaded files, said Mike Hudak, CEO and co-founder of Blip.tv While most downloaded video files come through iTunes, publishers and advertisers have a very difficult time in tracking if the files are watched and for what duration. The Adobe Media Player provides these numbers. Dynamic advertising insertion is a big part of advertising on the Adobe Media Player. Integrating the ads for Blip.tv is YuMe, Mike told me in this interview. Jayant Kadambi, YuMe CEO, told me yesterday that his company is both integrating video in the AMP and providing access to the company's advertising network. Its work for Blip.tv is its first implementation on AMP, he said.
