A show that lives up to the name! Lots of Stevesmith in this one. I asked everyone to act their fool heads off and scared most of you away! However, just as I had hoped, the ones that came in are “radio gold!” Stevewife, Theresa does a scene with me about actors. Chimp performs a short scene revealing the secret behind the title of a 1973 sci-fi classic. Ellen talks about her aversion to acting and gives an example of how it can turn out badly when someone is forced to perform. Zack does a fine reading from Henry IV. And first time guest Arty surprises with a last minute entry of some Shakespeare-from-memory although she cannot remember what it’s from. Heehee. This is my first show after a month long summer break. This is the one with the brand spanking new show opening which includes the magnificent voices of 31 of our members and the music of my son Zack. The remainder of the show consists of the many of the files that went into the making of said opening. Spike was lost in translation somewhere between West Virginia and radio nirvana so this is another long show as I plod on through an extra hour of love, drinking and touching. Less
