Randy is recovering from having some teeth removed, so this week is a little shorter than most.  Wayne picked up "Better Days", the Serenity comic and fills us in on the Whedon joke concerning the covers.  Dimension Films is going to make a new Short Circuit movie, I wonder if they will use a white guy to play an Indian again.  Heroes will return Sep 15th with a 1 hour recap episode and a 2 hour season premiere.  NBC has picked up Knight Rider as part of their 52 week schedule, making year-round TV ours finally!  Some shows get moved around to different networks and times, while many more come back to their normal schedules.  Wayne gives his take on Southland Tales after watching it over the weekend.  The GeekiNbox was not nearly as full has it has been lately, but we don’t complain. Episode 5 brings forth a discussion on what a typical gaming PC will look like in 2008. Does it include the FPS Vest or even an FPS Helmet? Does compressed air blown to the temple really sound that appealing? The 2007 PC Gaming sales numbers are in and they’re down. Of course they don’t include online distribution, but Steam is about to change all that with SteamWorks. Higher minimum requirements make gamers weep, bugs are really just undocumented features, and more games that Fox can get upset about. All this and more in Episode 5 of the FPS Cast.
