McCain heads up the Senate Commerce Committee, and, he says, this places him in situations where he is touch with a lot of special interests. Perhaps, JUST PERHAPS, the Commerce Committee should be a lot smaller, and do less, or nothing at all… Then neither we nor Senator McCain would have to worry about “appearances of impropriety and influence peddling,” because there would be no influence to peddle!
