On 2-20-08, Gardner Goldsmith took his program, “Against the Grain” into a new dimension, where the US Supreme Court refuses to hear cases of people who are disturbed by the federal government overlooking Fourth Amendment procedure. Why the dismissal? The plaintiffs cannot show harm, and thus do not have “standing”. But the only way they can show the “harm” that the S. Court requires is if they can show they have been wiretapped by the feds, and the only people with that information are… Yeah, you got it, the FEDS. Nice catch 22, eh?
