Breathe Free or Die: NH Smoking Ban Revisited & Defended, Superbowl 41 1/2 This Friday at noon on LeftRightAndCorrect with Dan Belforti & Friends, I have Dr. Mark Windt and Beth D’Ovidio lined up as my guests to discuss the recent NH Smoking Ban for restaurants and bars. Dr. Windt is a Breathe New Hampshire board member as well as the head of the Center for Asthma, Allergy & Respiratory Disease (his practice) in North Hampton. Ms. D’Ovidio is the Director of Communications at Breathe New Hampshire and was instrumental in advancing advocacy efforts via legislators at the State House in Concord. Rarely do I advocate additional infringements on property rights, but when weighed against the public health impact on children and employees, TheCorrectAnswer(.com) is to support a smoking ban in public restaurants and bars. I continue to support the consumption of tobacco in private, removed from children, and the removal of legislation which bans the consumption of marijuana in private.
