What is the Player?

The Odeo Player is a free Apple Widget that makes it easier to listen to your favorite shows. If you have an Odeo account, the Player gives you quick and easy access to the shows in your Queue. If you don't have an Odeo account, just enter a custom feed to hear your favorite podcasts.

Safari users: Downloading and installing the Odeo Player is simple if you're using Safari. It's like buttah. First, click the download link. When the download is done, show your Dashboard and click the plus sign. Then, choose the Odeo Player widget from the Widget Bar and you're good to go.

Firefox and other browser users: There's one more step if you're not using Safari. Start by clicking the download link. When the download is done, unarchive and double click the widget icon. Then, choose to install the widget and click "Keep" to put the Odeo Player in your Widget Bar.

Using the Odeo Player

Once you've downloaded the widget, you're ready to set up your Odeo Player for listening. Click the flip icon in the top right corner and enter your Odeo login and password. Then click "Done" and you can start browsing and listening to the shows in your Odeo Queue. If you don't have an Odeo account, you can still use the Odeo Player by entering a custom feed in the settings. Have fun!
