But that is the result of the most recent survey from the IFC (Independent Film Channel) and Zogby International: New Media, delivered by the internet, is judged to be more trustworthy than traditional media. Here are the numbers * 72.6% believe the news they read and see is biased. * 74.8% of respondents agreed that media coverage of the Presidential election influenced the outcome. * By a large margin, Americans consider the Internet the most reliable news source: o 37.6% said they consider the Internet the most reliable source of news o 20.3% consider national television news most reliable o 19.6% trust The New York Times, just slightly more than their local newspaper, (19.3%), as the most reliable newspaper outlet on issues that are important to them. o 16% say radio is the most reliable source As much as I’d like to believe, the question I would ask is why? It may be that it is simply the least of the known evils. Or I would like to think still presenting some degree of honest advocacy.
