This is the 4th video in the 3D Podcast series. In this video we take a look at the Station of Abraham (Maqam Ibrahim), which is located near the Kabah door. The Maqam Ibrahim houses a boulder which is sized 2 x 3 feet. This boulder was originally used by the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), which he would stand upon to build the upper parts of the Kabah. The stone was moved around in order to complete the different parts of the Kabah. The Maqam Ibrahim is presently located in the place where Ibrahim offered his prayers to God. To symbolise this, as part of the Umrah ritual, muslims stand behind the Maqam Ibrahim after completing the Tawaaf, and offer a prayer to God. Less
