Scott Straus, Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison teaches classes on genocide, violence, human rights, and African politics. His book, The Order of Genocide: Race, Power, and War in Rwanda, won a prestigious award in 2006 for Excellence in Political Science and Government from the Professional and Scholarly Publishing Division of the Association of American Publishers.
