Elmocast 40 - Over The Heel   Engaged!! What does over the hill even mean? I understand the allegory to climbing a hill reaching the top and then continuing down the far side. But the imagery is all wrong. The climb up is the hard part. The way down is the easy part. So being over the hill should be an exciting and happy moment in your life. Doesn't seem to be the way people think about it. It's like your life ends at 40. If you have done anything fun by then, then you might as well give up and go live in a smelly apartment with a bunch of cats and watch woody allen movies. I do not think this is true. I honestly think that my 40's are going to be the coolest years of my life. I mean so far my 30's have been better than my 20's. and my 20's were better than my teens. So why the hell should I NOT look forward to turning 40? I still have time, I am only turning 35 this year. But having my podcast turn 40, in a matter of speaking, sent my brain wandering down that path. Although I may still have a midllife crisis just becuase they look so damn fun!!
