THE AVETT BROTHERS return to the WoodSongs stage with a brand new CD “Emotionalism.” The band has created quite a buzz earning them three award nomination from the Americana Music Association this year. This non-traditional bluegrass band from North Carolina combines old-time country, bluegrass, punk, pop melodies, folk, rock and roll, honky tonk and ragtime to produce a sound described by The Washington Post as "post civil-war modern rock."
