Rose Ruffin, age 90 years young, gave an oral history to Jack Robinson, Researcher of local history (southeastern North Carolina) in April 2007. Her Grandmother, Martha Fisher, former slave, gave Rose many warm memories to include old African American folk songs. Rose sings one favorite tune that she heard back in the late 1920s and 1930s. All audio and research are copyrighted, forms have been properly signed, and are in the possession of Jack Robinson, Researcher of local history. http://www.jackrobinsonbooks.com Less
