I have juxtaposed Rollins' expression of anger and despair of racial inequality in 1958, with Obama's message of hope and unity as a tribute to the truly historic election and inauguration of our new President. The podcast continues with some other tracks, written in the spirit of freedom and hope that work well with the theme of the show. We saw some great performances in Hartford and New York City, and there were some fine jazz releases. One of those was from Jimmy Greene on Nu Jazz Records. This record label, is a new concept in jazz music distribution, one that represents the future of the recording industry, in my opinion.
