(26) But that servant falling down, besought him, saying: Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. (27) And the lord of that servant being moved with pity, let him go and forgave him the debt. (28) But when that servant was gone out, he found one of his fellow-servants that owed him an hundred pence: and laying hold of him, he throttled him, saying: Pay what thou owest. (29) And his fellow-servant falling down, besought him, saying: Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. (30) And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he paid the debt. (31) Now his fellow servants seeing what was done, were very much grieved, and they came, and told their lord all that was done. (32) Then his lord called him: and said to him: Thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all the debt, because thou besoughtest me: (33) Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee? (34) And his lord being angry, delivered him to the torturers until he paid all the debt. (35) So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. Col 3:12-14 Put ye on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, the bowels of mercy, benignity, humility, modesty, patience: (13) Bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against another. Even as the Lord hath forgiven you, so do you also. (14) But above all these things have charity, which is the bond of perfection. Jas 2:12-13 So speak ye and so do, as being to be judged by the law of liberty. (13) For judgment without mercy to him that hath not done mercy. And mercy exalteth itself above judgment. (28) But when that servant was gone out, he found one of his fellow-servants that owed him an hundred pence: and laying hold of him, he throttled him, saying: Pay what thou owest. (29) And his fellow-servant falling down, besought him, saying: Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. (30) And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he paid the debt. (31) Now his fellow servants seeing what was done, were very much grieved, and they came, and told their lord all that was done. (32) Then his lord called him: and said to him: Thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all the debt, because thou besoughtest me: (33) Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee? (34) And his lord being angry, delivered him to the torturers until he paid all the debt. (35) So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. Col 3:12-14 Put ye on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, the bowels of mercy, benignity, humility, modesty, patience: (13) Bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against another. (Jas 2:5) Hear, my beloved brethren: Has not God chosen the poor as to the world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to them that love him? (Jas 2:11) For he who said, Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also, Thou shalt not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become transgressor of the law. (Jas 2:12) So speak ye, and so act, as those that are to be judged by the law of liberty; (Jas 2:13) for judgment will be without mercy to him that has shewn no mercy. Mercy glories over judgment. (Jas 2:14) What is the profit, my brethren, if any one say he have faith, but have not works? can faith save him? (Jas 2:15) Now if a brother or a sister is naked and destitute of daily food, (Jas 2:16) and one from amongst you say to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled; but give not to them the needful things for the body, what is the profit? (Jas 2:17) So also faith, if it have not works, is dead by itself. (Jas 2:18) But some one will say, Thou hast faith and I* have works.
