Mike – Who in their right mind tries to pronounce MMORPG? Really? It sounds like “More Pig,” which is pretty silly, and it’s not like RPG gets people trying to treat it as a proper acronym, is it? Anyway, in this entry I harken back to the days of the first modern MMORPG itself: Ultima Online. Yes, we of the Late Night Shift were there at the dawn and we even knew one of the world’s first virtual gold farmers. This is the tale of the day we learned about priorities, and how it’s usually a good idea to get them straight (or at least figure out what everyone’s are) before you get in the simulation of a life-or-sort-of-death situation.

Mike – After a full night’s rest, Mike comes back to talk about the wait for the PS3, Monte Cook’s last roleplaying book, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and the Wii. In case you haven’t seen it, there’s also a very entertaining Wii commercial making the rounds as Nintendo starts spreading that $200 million advertising campaign around. I’ll link to that below, although this’ll only show them one at a time (instead as one long commercial, which you can find on YouTube).

Mike – Left in the cold by the members of the Late Night Shift who need some sort of “preparation” and “coherency” in order to make a contribution, I strike out on my own with a brief run-down on my last 24 hours and a thrown gauntlet for the Late Night Shift members. Also, I talk a bit about the Child’s Play charity, which is linked to below (or above, not yet sure how this works). Then, at the end, I sort of go off the tracks a little… but that’s ok.
