My name is not important. I am a college-educated, white, middle-aged man with a problem.

I’m insane.

Not “I want to chop your dog up” insane, but insane in the way that I refuse to take care of my financial responsibilities.

This leads to depression, isolation, homelessness and lots of pain all around.

Imagine you knew that you are going to get kicked in the nads if you don’t open the mail – yet you still refused to do so.

That is my life, and for 20 years no amount of therapy, medication, religion or hypnosis has been able to fix it.
