It is a sad fact that some of the UK’s Scholars of Islam have turned a blind eye to their role & responsibilities, while some only wish to concentrate on the differences of other Madhab and cause more disunity.

MPACUK also talks about the lack of accountability when it comes to the Scholars of Islam.
http://odeo.com/show/13348153/view MPOD: Ummah This Week MPOD - Ummah this Week: Accountability tag:odeo.com,2007-06-06:13148233 Wed, 06 Jun 2007 22:39:55 GMT
In the last MPACUK PodCast, a thread was opened up on our forum, comments were posted and while reading some of these, we realised that 7 years after the creation of MPACUK, we still had a long way of getting the principle of Accountability back into the Muslim community.

It’s funny that such a small word can bring humans into such a state of denial, anger and even violence. In the past men have been put to death for using it. Yet this small word could be the cure to the Muslims downfall.
http://odeo.com/show/13148233/view MPOD: Ummah This Week public, accountability, islam, muslim, affairs, committee, mpacuk, mpac public accountability islam muslim affairs committee mpacuk mpac MPOD - Ummah this Week: Hizb ut Tahrir & Government Interference In Mosques tag:odeo.com,2007-05-27:12700233 Sun, 27 May 2007 21:37:48 GMT
In this MPOD: Ummah This Week PodCast Asghar Bukhari talks about the Hizb ut Tahrir’s letter to the goverment in which they show their displeasure and MPACUK’s response to the goverment Interferance and Hizb ut Tahrir’s letter.
http://odeo.com/show/12700233/view MPOD: Ummah This Week MPOD - Ummah this Week: Old Leadership, New Britain tag:odeo.com,2007-05-13:12171923 Sun, 13 May 2007 21:01:36 GMT http://odeo.com/show/12171923/view MPOD: Ummah This Week reform, leadership, mosque, mpacuk, asghar, bukhari, mpac, ummah, mpod reform leadership mosque mpacuk asghar bukhari mpac ummah mpod MPOD - Ummah this Week: American Muslims Wake Up! tag:odeo.com,2007-05-06:11302323 Sun, 06 May 2007 21:36:28 GMT
‘MPOD – Ummah This Week’ continues this week on a wake up call to our fellow American Muslims to wake up and get involved in the political system to make it into what America used to be.
