Spoken by Firelight

It’s cold in Maine, so growing up there campfires were a part of daily life. I was mostly just the person who started the fire and quietly tended it. But on rare occasions I would recite a favorite poem. Mostly Edgar Alan Poe or William Shakespeare, but also some J.R.R. Tolkien and others.

Contents:

This podcast will contain the title and author, as well as the contents of the poem. I am not a public speaker, so there will be no unscripted dialogue. I will transcribe the text of the piece here on ODEO, along with any notes I might have about the piece.
