Op3n.net is a dj mixtape netlabel. Op3n invites not only djs or musicians but anyday web activists which share their personal opinions amongst the rest. Op3n uses mostly music published under Creative Commons licenses. The artists/musicians/producers who use these licenses usually allow the listener to copy or spread their work while respecting their authority at the same time. This type of license should be understood as an update to the current copyright practices and as a real and legal alternative to the rigid boundaries of the copyright.
