New Bandwidth and Infrastructure Upgrades for ODEO

Busy couple of days this week. In the wee hours of Thursday AM, we successfully transitioned to a dedicated GigE link to the Internet. During the same time, we also took advantage of the time to install new backbone switches and finalize migration of data to the new storage appliance. You may have noticed a couple of hickups along the way as we tried to make the entire process seamless but ran into a performance issue on Thursday AM. Our vendor was quick to jump in, help os diagnose and quickly fix the problem.

You should notice that ODEO is now much more responsive and anticipate that the upgrades will allow us to continue to scale the site as we add new features. Stay Tuned!
