Odeo's New Makeover!
Odeo's little sister has been getting so much attention lately that we felt it was high time Odeo got some TLC. Besides a *bunch* of significant bug fixes, Odeo has just had some nice freshening up. Come on by and check it out. We've highlighted features that folks seem to like by displaying them in more readily accessible spots, we toned down the pink because it was getting out-of-control, and we couldn't resist launching at least one cool new feature.- So What's New At Odeo?
- Tabs! We added two tabs to the top of Odeo: Browse and My Audio. Browse is for folks who want to casually sample our collection of 2.3 million mp3 files and My Audio is where members can take advantage of features such as playlisting, starring, friend's recommendations, subscriptions, and more.
- Categories! There's a list of 10 categories in the "Browse by Topic" sidebar module. These are curated playlists arranged by the following topics: Business, Comedy, Movies, Music, News, Politics, Science, Sex, Sports, and Technology. We're thinking of adding a few more too.
- BlogThis! (New Feature) We've hooked Odeo up to Blogger (the new beta version) and Typepad so if you're a blogger, you can set your blog up with us one time and then use the Blog button to post flash players to your blog without leaving Odeo. Note: We're working on supporting more blogging platforms. In the meantime, WordPress users can continue to use native Odeo support.
