I think I’m getting closer to fully understanding how - technically - I can make a “podcast” automatically download to subscribers with “Ipodder” based software. I still don’t understand exactly how the software reads a location to download, but this blogging service (Blogger.com) does it automatically for me, with the check on a template. I’ve also come up with a “format” for the podcasting that suits the medium better than uploading a full two hour “Rock 50” show. The ”’Rock 50’ digest” features selected segments from past “Rock 50” “live” programs, keeping each podcast under 30 minutes and in a smaller file for uploading and downloading. These Podcasts are also being submitted to Infinity Radio’s new project at KYOURadio.com, an Internet stream and terrestrial broadcast at 1550AM in the Bay Area of California. KYOURadio is being programmed with “podcast” programs 24/7, with the most popular of the shows remaining in the regular scheduled rotation of programs.
