The Arrogants are back and I am pretty excited. My obsession with this band began with their version of the Jesus and Mary Chain’s ‘You Trip Me Up’. Then, out of nowhere, I found out that they were giving up their older material up for grabs via their website. They have a new album out today that is their first full length. And they aren’t messing around. This release has 23 songs. Their new album “You’ve Always Known When Best To Say Goodbye…” is straight up dream pop both musically and lyrically, with swoon worthy female vocals. Thanks to Jana, the voice of the Arrogants, I have a heard a quarter of this album. Eight songs worth of material and I am ready to lay down the cash so I can hear the other 15 songs. Oh, and there is a dvd included. From what I heard, songs go back and forth from being mellow to upbeat. There are a couple almost rockers in the set that would probably be even more amazing live. When tweekitten updates their website, you can get this album for $7.50! I cannot help but wonder how this band thinks is deserves just 33 cents a song. : I Want You : Don’t Be Cynical : Wishing Well : Lovesick
