2-26 NH Gov Caves on REAL ID, GG Teaches

On February 26, 2008 Gardner Goldsmith entered the Lion’s Den once more, attempting to explain to his producer, who seems to think he’s a co-host, that there is a difference when politicians say they “intend” to do or not do something, and when they say, flat-out, that they will do or not do something. In this case, the specimen is NH Governor John Lynch, who is arranging things for an easy back-out on a NH Law passed last year. This law would prevent NH from conforming to the federal REAL ID requirements, including issuing drivers’ licenses that contain biometric data and, eventually, RFID chips. It’s tough work to defend freedom against people who play semantic games.

Gard also had to instruct his producer about the history of the “Fairness Doctrine” that could be reimposed any time (contrary to the US Constitution) by the FCC.

It’s all from “Against the Grain” and www.libertyconspiracy.com

Make sure you grab your copy of Gard’s book, “Live Free or Die” at amazon.com!
