I think I need to make a bunch of these. There’s so much good Hip-Hop that came out during my “formative” years (mid-late 90’s) that totally lays the smackdown on the current stuff. It didn’t matter if it was gangster, glossy or granola, it just felt like they tried a little harder back then. Maybe it’s just me.
