Taking part in a demo is great fun. You get to walk with a group of like minded people, shout about things you care for on the streets of your city, while the traffic waits for you.
On December 3rd 2005, from Bangladesh to Venezuela, people took to the streets to focus world attention on the effect mankind is having on Earth’s environment.
Saturday December 3rd was chosen as it bisects the two week Climate Conference being held in Montreal. This conference is the first ‘Meeting of Parties’ who are engaged in the Kyoto Protocol, the protocol which the United States and Australia have yet to ratify and the protocol which the UK government seems to be wandering away from.
We walked and talked with the London demonstration. We recorded their views, rants and chants. So why not download this podcast and become part of the International Day of Climate Protest.
